Process for picking up student belongings:
Student belongings will be ready for pick up on June 3, 4 and 5. There will be four pick up stations set up along the fence by the portables from 8:30-4:30 both days. Student belongings will be gathered together by family. No families will be given access to the school, all items will be outside at pick up time.
As many shoes are not labelled with student names, it would be helpful if you could email your child's teacher with a description of your child's shoes - colour, brand, size. Unknown shoes/items will be on tables labelled by homeroom teacher name, spread out around the fenceline around the parking lot (weather permitting).
If you have any items that you would like to drop off at the school (i.e. musical instrument; work; library books), please put them in a bag labelled with the child's name so we can track the item being returned.
Sign up for one time using the School Interview app - when you sign up for your one time, use the name(s) of your child(ren) so we know which students to group together as a family. The app is for interviews but it is a very useful way to organize this type of activity - instead of teacher names it is Pick up station #1, 2, 3, and 4 - sign your family up for one of these stations which will be clearly labelled.
We are moving about 400 families through this process over the course of the two days so we ask that you respect the time for which you register and to respect the guideline of social distancing (2 metres). Interacting with others on school property cannot occur and we will politely ask you to move along so we can make the process as efficient as possible for the entire community.
